It's been six months since my last special announcement. I've got lots of news this time around.
First, I hope you'll check out our first annual Vegan Recipe of the Year feature. It includes four amazing recipes from some of the vegan community's most admired chefs. These are never-before-published recipes available exclusively from Vegan.com.
And minutes ago, I published another special feature: our 2011 vegan holiday gift guide. Choosing something special for your vegan loved ones can be an exhausting task, but our guide turns your gift shopping into a quick and easy experience. We've gathered together the very best cookbooks to come out this year, and mixed in some of the most important vegan-oriented reference books. And if that's not enough, we've chosen eighteen of the most desirable kitchen items — products you might not think of but which most food-savvy vegans would love to own. All of these products are sold through Amazon, so you get low prices, free shipping, convenient ordering, and top-notch customer service.
In other news, I've decided to stop daily blogging. If you're interested, I've written a lengthy explanation for my decision.
And finally, just this morning Mercy For Animals released an important new undercover investigation that exposes the cruel farming practices of one of McDonald's primary egg suppliers. I hope you'll do whatever you can to publicize this investigation through Facebook, Twitter, and your other personal channels.
